In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and to facilitate safe travel, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD and Independent Medico Diagnostic Laboratory LINA have partnered to offer coronavirus testing at Burgas Airport at the test site located in front of Terminal 1.
Testing is available for all arriving and departing passengers, as well as for other visitors of the airport. Passengers willing to be tested for COVID-19 at Burgas Airport just before their departure should provide enough time to do so and be at the airport earlier to avoid crowding at the testing site at the last minute.
The registration of passengers for their flights ends 40 minutes before the announced time of departure.
The samples are taken without prior booking. The results of the tests can be checked on the website of LINA through a personal code provided by an employee of the laboratory. In case an official certificate for the test result for COVID-19 (certificate - electronic or printed) is required, it can be obtained both from the testing point at Burgas Airport and during the working hours of each other testing site of LINA.

Antigen / Rapid Test
Detects the presence or absence of a viral infection and the risk of infecting other people through obtaining a sample of nasopharyngeal secretions.

Results: Available within 30 minutes after testing
In case of doubtful results and need to repeat the test - the result will be available for up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. The repeated test is at the expense of the laboratory.
PCR test
Polymerase Chain Reaction Test – obtaining a sample of nasopharyngeal secretions.
- Standard PCR test
Price: BGN 115
Result: Available up to 6 hours for samples taken between 8:00 am and 17:00 pm on the days between Monday and Saturday.
For samples taken after 17:00 pm every day from Monday to Saturday and Sunday, the result will be available until 14:00 pm on the next day.
- Fast PCR test
Price: BGN 190
Result: Available up to 3 hours and 30 minutes for samples taken between 8:00 am and 17:00 pm on the days between Monday and Saturday.
